Symposium on Safety Management and Emergency Responses to a Serious Nuclear Accident
The nuclear power plant accident occurred at Fukushima last year has highlighted the importance of safety management and emergency responses to a serious nuclear accident.  The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and City University of Hong Kong are co-hosting a symposium to discuss safety management and emergency responses to a serious nuclear accident upon nuclear plant accidents. Officials from Security Bureau, Hong Kong Observatory, Water Supplies Department, and Centre for Food Safety, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department will be there to share their views. Civic Exchange is supporting the captioned event.
